For the first time in the history of the apparel industry we will be able to bring to any designer/retailer the ability to offer any consumer who is able to get scanned the option of custom-fitted, made-to-order garments. Until now, body scanners have essentially been used as expensive tape measures, translating detail-rich scan data into the same linear measurements used for centuries to draft custom patterns. We have the only technology that is capable of generating a fitted flat pattern by building a garment directly on the 3D body scan data. This opens the entire consumer base to any designer and/or retailer interested in pursuing a mass customization program.
